 This place was just truely magical!Where do I start!? This Villa was exactly what I had dreamed of for a place to stay in Bali. From the start. prior to our arrival the villa had great commuinction in which we were easily able to arrange for the villa driver to pick us up from the airport. When we arrived we were taken straight to our villa where check in was so easy and smooth. We had ordered a private BBQ on the beach for dinner on the first night where we watched the sunset followed by massages in the villa. (What a way to start a vaction!) The Villa itself. is just truely beautiful. Private pool. ocean view. rice field views from the kitchen and a stunning tradional wooden villa. Inside the Villa. it is rustic and if you aren't a fan of being with nature potentially this isn’t for you as the kitchen and main bathroom is outdoors. However you just beat everything infront of you for the price and I'm a city girl but just totaly loved it! Beds were very comfy and the villa had everything we need. They also do a turn down service where they put the nets around the bed - as lets face it. you are in in forest by the sea - there are mosquitos. Also it did take one night to get use to the calls from the Gekos! Who knew those little creatures had such a loud call? All the staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much from them. The food was gorgous and really reasonablly priced. We also hired the services of the Villa driver who took us north of Bali for the day and took us to a water temple and was just an awesome guide. He showed us and explained what we needed to do at the temple which was a great experince and after he took us to a Luwak coffee forest. The area in Canggu is just great. There isn't a great deal in the immediate area by the villa but it was very easy to either arrange for a driver or taxi to take us in the evening into more built up areas. So you totally get to enjoy best of both worlds here. Myself and my partner cannot wait to return! Only thing I did not like was that we had to leave at the end! Made and her Team arranged everything perfectly. It has been such a pleasant and relaxable stay. And not to Forget ... Widi .. he is a perfect Driver. tour guide and even can teach and instruct Surfers. We felt very well with him :-) The beach is not made for swimming. but this is just natural and can even not be changed by the Hotel ;-) .... The villas arranged for our airport pickup which was about 40 minutes depending on traffic. Upon arrival. we were greeted with a welcome drink and snack. The staff showed us around our villa and were nothing short of amazing our entire stay. They were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The villas are locked by the staff when you leave the property which is very reassuring and set us up with a scooter for the day. Now. let’s talk about the views!!! The villa itself is beautiful and not like your average hotel. it had a great Bali feel to it. Taking a look outside our villa was our own private infinity pool overlooking the ocean!!! A private pool with the ocean in the backyard is something you have to experience. My morning coffee will never be the same. During our stay we also opted for the romantic couples dinner which was so beautiful and delicious as well as a floating breakfast. This villa will be hard to top and you can’t beat the price! We will definitely be staying here again our next trip to Bali. The villa accommodated our group of 14 very comfortably. We had lots of shared space. but also quiet. private areas. The villas themselves were unique and interesting. However. the highlight was definitely the staff. It would not have been near as enjoyable without them - efficient. friendly and effective. Food options were varied and flexible The airport pick-up and driver services were excellent. Not only were they comfortable and safe trips. we were provided a wealth of knowledge. True ambassador of Bali. We hosted a luncheon for 60 people following a wedding in the area. It was superb - well beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this villa! Thanks to the staff! We came back from a beach walk to our room and pool decorated beautifully. Such a romantic stay for the beginning of our honeymoon. We easily ran up a bill drinking beer as it is slightly pricy. The villas were traditional Balinese styles and amazing. It was mostly open air living. which we loved. but it's not for everyone. We were in the two bedroom villa and the bathroom and kitchen were both outside. Great views of the ocean and the private pool was so nice and relaxing. We feel asleep each night to the the sound of the waves. Very quite and peaceful place. The food was great. Staff was very friendly. nice. and attentative. The only down side we found was it was a long drive to major places like ubud and denpasar. about and 1-1.5 hours away. Would recommend this place to anyone!! WE WILL BE GOING BACK!! We missed breakfast by several hours but they were more than happy to bring it to us. This was unforgettable and perfect in every way. The villa is beautiful and a wonderfully restored Javan building with lovely features and well modernised. The staff are unobtrusive and very good. Our shoddy timekeeping wasn't a problem.
